Vault Game

A giveaway game hard enough that winning it means something.

9 of 12 One miss and the run is over NINE IN A ROW 62ms to tap the ninth VAULT-4K7Q Checked, then issued

Try it live A drawing of how it works, not a photograph. The real one is one tap away.

Built for a launch giveaway: a needle sweeps a dial, you tap when it is inside the lit arc, and every lock is faster, smaller and less predictable than the last. Lock one gives you a fifth of a second; lock nine gives you a sixteenth, with the target moving, the needle reversing without warning and the dial going dark. One miss ends the run. Open nine in a row and the page issues a single-use code, capped at however many prizes really exist and counted down in public. The page never sends a score — it sends the moments it was tapped, and the server replays the run and works out what happened, which is why a prize this real can be given away by a web page at all.
