← Price questions

How much does a small business website cost?

Anywhere from about $200 a year to $12,000 once. The gap is not quality so much as who owns the result and who keeps billing you.

The three ways to get one

A page builder

$16–50 a month, typical

You build it yourself on somebody else’s platform. Quick to start and genuinely fine for a brochure. You are renting the software, the hosting and the templates, and you stop having a website the month you stop paying.

An agency or a freelancer

$3,000–12,000, typical

Designed and built for you, and yours at the end. The range is wide because it covers a five-page site and a fifty-page one. A lot of the cost is design work being done from scratch every time.

A site built on a foundation that exists what we do

from $1,500

The structure, the form and the hosting setup are already built and running. What gets made for you is the design, the words and the things specific to your business. You own the code.

Every figure above that is not ours is a typical range, not a quote from a named company. We publish our own prices, so we will not put an unchecked number next to somebody else’s name.

The part the monthly price hides

A page builder at $30 a month is $1,800 over five years, and that is before the add-ons most businesses end up on. The site is not the expensive part of a website — the renting is. And when you leave, the pages do not come with you.

What moves the price

When a website is not what you should buy

If every job you get comes by word of mouth and nobody has ever found you online, a better website will not change that on its own. Put the money into being findable first — a Google Business Profile, filled in properly, is free and does more for a local trade than a redesign. Come back when people are looking you up and not calling.

What we charge

Our Business Site is $750, once. It is already built and running — you are buying a copy adjusted to your services, your hours and your branding, and the code is yours afterwards. There is no monthly bill, and nothing to renew.

One round of changes after handover is included. Anything beyond that we quote in writing before we start.

Want to see it before you decide?

It is running on a live address right now. Book yourself an imaginary appointment and cancel it again — that is the whole product.
